Three lines of work
Beyond my degree and master's in psychology, I hold a specialization in clinical and institutional educational psychology. That lets me work with individuals and groups along different lines:
- Children and teenagers — improving school performance through activities planned to develop logical reasoning and to build vocabulary and social skills;
- Adults — organizing routines and planning study with more effective techniques, whether for higher education or for competitive public-service exams;
- Schools — consulting on improving the pedagogical plan and the strategies for teaching and assessment.
The role of teachers
Teachers play a decisive part in all of this. To support them, I published several articles with experienced colleagues, all freely available in Portuguese:
- Action research as a complement to alteritarian listening — with Prof. Dr. Regina Maringoni de Oliveira;
- Reflections on learning difficulties;
- How teachers act when students are in conflict — with Profs. Dr. Carolina de Aragão Escher Marques and Vanessa Cristina Cabrelon Jusevicius.
